Webroy is pleased to announce they are now a level 4 B-BBEE company.
In-line with the automotive industries transformation targets, Webroy have executed a 3 year plan to move from a level 8 to the new level 4 in order to support our customers and develop our own supply chains and employee skill levels.
The largest improvements have been around:
- skills development: identifying key staff and investing in training and development
- procurement: ensuring we support locally sourced products with focus on B-BBEE.
Key partnerships have also been setup with partners Singakwenza, a local KZN NPO, whose focus is on early childhood education. Through their training and mentorship program, Waste 2 Toys workshops and Learn at Home program, Singakwenza strive to ensure we break the poverty cycle through education.
Finally a huge thank you to all staff at Webroy who have worked towards achieving this target and to our B-BBBEE consultants at Stimela Consulting who have provided expert advice and practical solutions.
